• Ensure that your personal kit is sufficient and serviceable

• Consider PPE requirements

• Consider foods and fluids for the duration of your tasking

• Communication checks are to be made before deployment

• Confirm that all members are ready to deploy

• Ask and answer any questions before deployment

• If specialist taskings are required then ensure that the correct PPE is available and used where required
